Integrating an authenticator

What do you guys think to the idea of building an authenticator (Google Authenticator style) INTO 1Password?

Couldn't see any other topics about this, but I didn't look very far back.

Just to be clear, I don't mean having a second factor on the master password, I mean literally having a code generator in 1Password. So, alongside my username + password for a site, I can also scan an authenticator QR code or enter the MFA key, and that same page will generate one-time codes for my login.

Ideally, this would then sync across my devices, and my 1Password for Mac could generate one-time codes as well as 1Password for iPhone.

The beauty of it would be one click login. Click login, 1Password plugin enters my username+password, enters the two-factor code on the next page, and it's all nicely automated. Plus everything is stored in the same place.

I store my two-factor secret keys in 1Password anyway, so it doesn't seem like it would have a negative effect on my security.

    Additional point: right now, I've got two apps for security. 1Password and Google Authenticator. This would reduce that to just one neat bundle.

    You're not alone, a TOTP generator is something we want to consider adding to 1Password in the future. I can't make any promises, and don't have an estimated timeframe, but I'll add your vote to our tracker. :)

    Please add my vote for this feature as well.

    In addition to simplifying my workflow, it also makes me feel a lot safer. I have a lot more trust in 1Password's data integrity than I do in Google's ability not to mess up my keys during app updates or system restores.

    I would love this too. Ideally it would automatically go through both screens, but even a code generator action in iOS8 would be awesome.

    I'll throw my vote in on this too. I'm planning on switching away from Google auth soon anyway and being able to use 1P more would be great.
