Hello,
The chrome extension for my surface pro 2 just ticks away saying connecting.
I have removed it multiple times, installed the other extensions, still not working.
I have tried all of the items listed here: http://help.agilebits.com/1Password_Windows/helper-not-connected.html and still not working.
A little frustrating since my desktop next to it works fine.

I have installed the latest windows version -- that works fine (with dropbox). I even tested back and forth between my surface pro 2 and other computer (desktop), drop box syncs fine with the 1password file.

Yes, I am running this in desktop mode.

Yes, I have removed the extension and gone to the link to click the "green button". That does not work. after a few seconds, an error pops up that says the version 4 is not compatible with chrome (kinda odd?).

Thanks,
dpt

We have not tested 1Password 1 for Windows on any tablet. I encourage you to sign up for the 1Password 4 for Windows beta program here: https://agilebits.com/beta_signups/winnewsletter.html

I have installed 1Password 4 for Windows, currently in beta development, on a Surface Pro 2 running Windows 8.1 and confirmed that it works as expected in Desktop mode.

Note that I did have to configure Chrome to default to Desktop mode to get the expected 1Password behavior.

Note, too, that one of the underlying elements of 1Password seems to disrupt the behavior of the on-screen handwriting “keyboard” in ways we do not yet understand.

(We are in very early stages of testing on tablets. I believe you are the fourth person from whom we've heard about trying to use 1Password on a tablet.)
