error message every time i use 1Password - Not authorized to send Apple events to System Events

Hi, since upgrading to Mojave on my Mac, every time I use 1Password, I get this error message - any suggestions on how to get rid of this error message?

Operation Couldn't be completed./Users/myname/Library/Application/Scripts/ 2BUA8C4S2C.com.agilebits.onepassword-osx-helper/1Password_Autosubmit.scpt:140:156:execution error:Not authorized to send Apple events to System Events (-1743)

    @reddirt,

    To stop that from happening you'll want to remove the checkmark next to "automatically sign in after filling usernames and passwords" on the Browsers tab of the 1Password Preferences window.
