Crashes and restarts every minute with kernelbase.dll error; 1000's of times!

I'm using the latest version of 1Password on a Windows 10 machine using Chrome. I have thousands of these events in Event Viewer, more than one each minute, even after rebooting:

  • @MarkCur something doesn't feel right here, event log entry speaks of version 7.2.576 (which was stable version of 1Password until today) and you mentioned 7.3.654 which is new stable release. Can you please uninstall 1Password (don't worry, data is not being removed at uninstall times) and reinstall 1Password from here https://app-updates.agilebits.com/download/OPW7 . It will rule out version mismatch.

As for the error itself, it's one of your browsers starting 1Password and failing to communicate with it. Sometimes it's caused by antivirus solutions, sometimes this is pending Windows update (if you are using Microsoft Edge).

  • I've confirmed the new version is installed and all seems to be working now. Thanks for your help!

  • Glad everything is good now!
