I can't find my license

I have had 1Password for awhile and have several problems. I installed 7 not realizing it wasn't covered by my license for 6. so I'm back to using 6 however,

  1. I can't uninstall 7 as it keeps telling me that the program is still running when its not. And yes, I tried Force Quit but the app wasn't even listed.

  2. 1Password 6 isn’t recognizing my license and its gone from my computer. I had to get it from my MacBook Pro but it keeps telling me...

  verify you copied the key from your 1Password 
  for Mac purchase and not another product.

I even copied the file itself to Dropbox but I can't find a similar folder on my iMac to put it.
