What's the difference between the two difference places I can set a lock timeout for 1Password X?

Hi,

It look like there's two places I can set a lock timeout for 1Password when using it with 1Password X. My guess is that the first one on the actual profile URL essentially logs you out of the web page after the set time, and the second one on the actual extension settings locks it for anything that is part of the browser extension that's not directly on the web page?

On the https://my.1password.com/profile:

On the https://my.1password.com/profile

On the extension settings:

On the extension settings

Sorry if this is a pedantic question.

Best,
Daniel

Hey @Vash! Welcome to the forum. :)

Your guess is correct. The first screenshot controls the lock settings when you're signed into your account on 1password.com. Those settings don't apply to the extension, but the website itself. The second screenshot is for controlling how long until 1Password X (the browser extension) locks. Let us know if you have any further questions!
