Reuse passwords

Does 1PW have a built in mechinisim to not reuse a previously generated password (albeit a very very low chance of it actually happening)?

I ask because I just read about MyFitnessPal being hacked, including hashed passwords. So I changed mine, but it made me think if there is any chance of that same password being used anywhere else even if I got it from the PW Generator?

  • The chance of that happening by accident given you use a good length of the password is very very close but strictly larger than 0. However, Watchtower would immediately warn you of having a duplicate password in your login-items.

I don't think I could have said it better than peacekeeper. :) If you're using a reasonably long password there is a better chance of winning the lottery than generating the same password twice.

    Thanks for the assist, peacekeeper.
