1Password extension remains unlocked after reopening Brave browser

I installed the 1Password extension into the Brave browser on my MacBook Pro and I have noticed that the extension operates differently than it does with Chrome.
On Chrome, whenever I close the browser and then open it again, the 1Password extension is locked and requires me to enter my password. On Brave, if I open the 1Password extension with a password and then close the Brave browser - when I reopen Brave the 1Password extension is already unlocked. Is this the way it is supposed to operate?

1Password Version: 7.1.2

    Hi @rvmeush

It sounds like you may be using two different 1Password extensions: 1Password X in Chrome and the 1Password desktop extension in Brave. 1Password X doesn't currently "talk" to the 1Password desktop application, so it has no way of knowing that 1Password for Mac is unlocked. The 1Password desktop extension does. So if you launch Chrome with the 1Password desktop extension installed, and 1Password for Mac is unlocked, the extension will be unlocked as well.

Does that explain what you're seeing?
