Displaying items with Nested Tags

I searched for a while and didn't see this addressed. In the sidebar, there is the list of tags. When you click on a tag with nested tags, all the items for the selected tag and all the nested items is displayed. If these are truly a replacement for folders, I think that only the items with the selected tag be displayed and not the items with the nested tags.

Is this possible to do? it would make more sense to me.

Nested tags might be tricky. At the moment, if you select the origin tag A, all of the items under that tag will be shown, including the items under nested tags A/B and A/C. However, if you select A/B or A/C specifically, you won't see an item under origin A tag. This behaviour is consistent in 1Password apps across different platforms.

It is not possible to change it at the moment, but we are always looking at ways to improve it. I hope it helps. Let me know if you have other questions, we are always here for you.
