    @Sundance1971 - do you have either another account or some standalone vaults present in 1Password for Mac currently? If the account you're trying to remove is the ONLY account you have, then you won't be able to do it that way. In such a case, just click Help > Troubleshooting > Reset all 1Password Data and that will remove everything so that the next time you launch 1Password, it will be as if you're a new user, and you can either create a new 1Password account or sign in with one you already have.
