  • Thanks for passing this along, @ScottieRae! This means that our native messaging host (a little helper process to allow communication between 1Password and the browser extension) is crashing. This is commonly thanks to some variety of third-party interference so I'd first suggest rebooting into Safe Mode with Networking to see if the problem persists:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode

I'd also like to get a look at some diagnostics, outside Safe Mode, if possible. Could you try opening 1Password without any browsers running and see if you're able to generate a diagnostics report? Instructions are here:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Windows)

Don't post your diagnostics here (this is a public forum), but do attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com and include a link to this thread. That way I can "connect the dots" when I see your diagnostics in our inbox.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  For bonus points, post that number here so I can track down the diagnostics and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :+1: Of course, if you're not able to generate the diagnostics report as a result of the crash, please let me know.

    Thanks! :chuffed:

I uninstalled the browser extension. Then reinstalled it and all seems to be functioning fine now. I will update if there are any further issues.

  • Glad to hear it, @ScottieRae! Hopefully all continues to be well, but do let me know if you see further trouble. :chuffed:
