signing into my account from brand new ipad

I have a brand new ipad (ios 12.2), I've installed the app, but it just tells me 'check your email and secret key'... used the scan to get the details on and checked my password a zillion times.

    Hi @jackied! Welcome to the forum!

    Are you using the most up-to-date version of your Emergency Kit?

    I am asking because this error can appear when you are using the wrong Sign In Address during login (for example, if an account was converted from Families to Individual in the past, but the Emergency Kit has not been regenerated to include the correct URL).
