Password problem

i am getting a pop-up to install a new version of 1Password. The user name is auto-populating as Tim Whipple. When I put in the password from my emergency sheet, it comes up as wrong, so I cancel the pop-up and it pops up 3 minutes later. There is no button to reset password. Help!
