Why does it say "Terrible" next to my password in my "1Password Account"?

When I open 1PW and select my 1Password Account, at the top it has my password and across from that it says "Terrible" and has a white circle.
This password is right under my "username".
This is my master password.
This seems concerning. Especially when my pw is rated as "Terrible".
(This is a 1PW generated pw.)
Maybe I entered the password when I shouldn't have?

Is there some other password that my "1Password Account" wants listed here?
My 1PW Account is located in Logins. Is this the problem?
Perhaps if it wasn't in the login category, then it wouldn't have asked for a password?
Should I move it out of Logins? If so, where to?

This pw is also listed under "View Password History" and dated the day that I first signed on.
I think I tried to get rid of it, when I first saw it was my master password.

Please advise.
Thank you.

    Hi @gmj

Did you either copy & paste or manually type the password into that field? How long (roughly) is the password?

I probably manually typed my password in.
    It is 27 characters long.

Gotcha. At present the password strength weighs the entropy (randomness) of the password heavily. The only way we have any information about the entropy is if the password was placed there by the password generator. If you type or paste it we don't have that info. So, if you did manually type the password, even though it is relatively long, it wouldn't be entirely unexpected that it is rated poorly.

    That makes sense.

Was I supposed to enter my master password in my 1PW Account?

My 1PW Account is located in Logins. Is that an issue?

    No issue. That's fine. :)

There isn't any harm in doing so.

Can I assume that any password from the 1PW generator is strong enough?

Is there a way in 1PW to plug in my master password and get it rated?

The password generator will allow you to generate short passwords that would generally not be advisable, so I wouldn't say that every possible password generated by it is inherently secure, no.

I'm not aware of a way to have your Master Password rated at this point but if it is 27 characters and random I'd suspect it is fine. We do have some suggestions available here:
