Touch ID on my Mac worked and now it is greyed out and doesn't work

After I booted this morning everything worked and I was able to use touch id. I quit 1pw from the mini tab in the menu bar. When I gotback from an extended absence, Command \ didn't work, clicking on the mini menu, being in Safari did nothing. I launched 1pw withLaunchbar. The mini menu didn't react, from the main app I had to search for the page I wanted to fill, copy the username and pw to open it. I restarted my computer and now everything seems fine0 -
This happened because you quit 1Password mini from the menu bar. If you stop that process, 1Password will stop working and won't fill anything anymore. You should probably just close the main desktop app, and leave 1Password mini running, so that when you get back, mini will still be running to listen to your keyboard shortcut.
