Working with Keychain and 1Password

Hi, I am interested to know whether there are any particular views or thoughts about using Safari with Keychain alongside 1Password?

One obvious approach would be to use 1Password exclusively by turning passwords off in Safari preferences but I wondered if there are use cases where it makes sense to use them in parallel. I have even wondered if I am better off using Keychain and Safari for login and 1Password for other secure items like Notes, Bank Accounts etc.

If the best approach is to use 1Password exclusively then I plan to delete all passwords from Keychain so as to not risk having duplicates that are not maintained.

I would be interested in any thoughts or ideas other may have.

    Hi @iwaddo!

    If you use 1Password, we recommend disabling Keychain and any password management feature included in browsers, so that there is no interference and 1Password can do what it can do best :)

    Generally, I cannot think of an example where using both keychain and 1Password would make it worth the potential confusion of using two systems for this.
