chrome plugin: 1password(desk rqd) vs 1passwordx

I have tried both 1password chrome plugins. I use various browsers, so need to use the 'desktop required' version, but I like the way the 1passwordx version pops up with your options when there is a un/pw field. Any way to make the 'desktop required' version do that? Thanks!

@jaddison72: It isn't possible for the 1Password desktop app/extension to behave like 1Password X (and vice versa) currently, no. They're both separate code, and created with different use cases in mind. For example, 1Password X was created primarily to allow people who can't install our desktop apps to use 1Password in their browser, so it's designed to be completely self-sufficient, running solely in the browser, independently. That way it works on Linux, Chromebooks, and restricted work computers. And because of that purpose, we've tried some different things in 1Password X, and perhaps we can bring some of that to the "desktop" as well in the future. :)
