Will my passwords be retained?

I have been using 1Password since version 3.? When I tried to upgrade to either version 5 or 6 something went wrong and after support helped me out I no longer had the secret key and my account has been screwed up. Now, I am being forced to upgrade as the 1Password extension no longer works in Safari but I still have my logins. Will I be able to complete the upgrade to version 7 or am I going to encounter a lot of problems to get this to work on my Macs?
