7.4.1 update failed on iMac. won't open. bought 1password 7.3.2 on 9/30/19.

1password app on iMac says "quit unexpectedly" when opening. Safari extension is gone. 1password updater won't open says "may be damaged or incomplete". After trying to install, software update window says " validation failed:The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -67688). Now what?

Is this happening with the 1Password 7 app downloaded from our website, or from the Mac App Store?

I awoke my mac today and had a popup box from 1password announcing 7.4.1 and requesting that I update. I assume this came directly from 1password since I bought the license directly from 1password.com and not the app store.

Thank you for the confirmation. Can you please try dragging the 1Password 7 app from your Applications folder to the Trash (just the application itself, without using any cleaning tools or you risk losing your data), then download and install a fresh version from our website?
