Catch 22 with Secret Key

Longtime 1Password user and just upgraded to version 7. I'm being asked for a secret key which I don't know. I don't have an Emergency Kit anywhere that I can find. Frustratingly, I'm instructed to find the Secret Key by logging into my 1Password web account. But I can't do that because it asks me for my Secret Key!!!! What gives? Am I just going insane?
