Chrome "Browser Connection Refused" Windows App 7.3....

Hi -

I am stuck in an upgrade loop.

  • Message appears on app re 'An Update Is Available - Click here to install"
  • On Menu shows 'Update to 7.3.712'

Selecting either update path results in a "Browser Connection Refused" error, and update does not occurr.

ALSO
receive this error repeatedly while in Chrome browser - 1P browser extension no longer accessible.

I have

  • restarted Chrome
  • restarted windows
  • removed and reinstalled 1P browser extension
    ....Without success at resolving the problem.

I will forward a diagnostic and will standby for suggestions.

    Hi @hoffman1p,

    I found your report on our side, thank you for sending it in!

    It seems that you are running an old version of 1Password 7, that is why 1Password extension can't connect to the app.

    I am not sure why 1Password 7 doesn't auto-update on your PC, so I will take a closer look at the report you've shared and reply to you via email. Thanks again!
