Update Existing pasword not working for US Bank

I have just started using a 1Passowrd account today. I am trying to use the update existing password with no luck. I have verified I am using the latest Mac Safari extention (7.4.1)
From the instructions here https://support.1password.com/change-website-password/ I get through step 2. I never recieve the popup to Save Login - Update Existing. After I generate the new password and select Save and Fill nothing else happens. I complete changing the password on the website but 1Password appears to not have detected the new password. The new password is saved but I have to use it from the browser extension's list of passwords, not from the the log in.
Any thoughts on why this is happening? FYI this is not only for US Bank. I cannot get this feature to work on any site.

Hi @mikegs1!

If you open 1Password Preferences > Browsers tab, is the option Detect new usernames and passwords and offer to save them enabled for you? If this is not working on any site, that is the first think I would check.
