Touch ID option missing when starting 1Password

Hi.

On iPhone 8 Plus - I have Touch ID enabled in 1Password. But every time I first launch the app, my only login method is to enter my master password - no touch ID option is available. But after logging in, Touch ID becomes available to unlock the app. This is new behavior for me - is it possible to restore Touch ID when first launching 1Password?

    is it possible to restore Touch ID when first launching 1Password?

    The Master Password is always required the first time you launch 1Password. Touch ID is handled completely by iOS, and this is also how your phone behaves (after you reboot it, you cannot unlock it with Touch ID, you will have to enter your PIN first). So 1Password can only know and use Touch ID once you have authenticated once using your Master Password.
