Touch ID on Macbook Pro

in 1Password in the Browser

I set up Touch ID to log in to 1Password on my Macbook Pro. The stand alone version works fine. However, I can't figure out how to make it work in the Chrome browser extension.

    Hi @nathansfca! Welcome to the forum!

    If you want to be able to unlock the browser extension with Touch ID too, you either need 1Password for Mac Beta and 1Password X Beta (which support the latest desktop app integration), or you can use the traditional browser extension instead.

    Thank you! I am using 1Password X. Is there a version beyond that?

    Yes, the latest stable version of 1Password X is 1.17.0, while the latest beta is currently version 1.18.1.beta. Please see this discussion in the 1Password X Beta forum if you would like to switch to the beta channel.

    And here are the instructions to switch to 1Password for Mac Beta too, should you need them.
