How Does Upgrading to a Family Plan Affect Billing?

My individual plan will renew on March 10th, but I'd like to upgrade to a family plan now. How does that affect my billing? I noticed the upgrade is free for 30 days.

    Hi @TheRealMrT61

    Billing is prorated based on any amounts you've already paid. Any charges you'd incur by upgrading would be offset by whatever existing credit remains for your current billing period. Outside of any promotions that may be in effect trial periods are typically for new memberships only, not existing accounts changing plans.
