Fresh install of Firefox 72.01 (everything up-to-date) on macOS Catalina 10.15. I have the stand-alone 1Password7 app installed. I follow the instructions to install 1Password extension for Firefox. After this, Firefox shows it installed in "Add-Ons" (I can toggle it on and off) but the extension button/icon is absent from the toolbar and the overflow menu. Restarting Firefox doesn't help.

The extension works correctly in Safari, but I need it in Firefox.

1Password Version: 7.4.1
Extension Version: 1.17.0
OS Version: MacOS 10.15.2

Hi @Zanto! Welcome to the forum!

Can you please go through the instructions in our support article If you don’t see the 1Password icon in your browser and see if they help?

I have gone through those instructions. They did not help. However, I uninstalled Firefox (using AppCleaner to ensure I cleaned out everything. Then I re-installed it and re-installed the 1Password extension. It now works. This is solved now. Thanks for your help.

You are welcome @Zanto! And thank you for the update. It does sound like there was something wrong with your Firefox installation, but I am happy that you managed to get things sorted out.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out anytime.

    Have a wonderful day :)
