please unlock 1password from the toolbar icon

in 1Password in the Browser

I have both the dektop app and Google Chrome installed. 1Password is not autofilling in Chrome, I get a message to "Please unlock 1Password from the toolbar icon" I don't understand from the previous post how to correct this. I realize I shouldn't have both but how do I get around the problem?

    Hi @jhbecker! It's normal to have both the 1Password desktop app and Chrome installed, if that's what you mean when you say that you shouldn't have both. It sounds like you're using 1Password X. To unlock it, click the 1Password icon on your browser toolbar, type in your Master Password, then press the return key on your keyboard. After that, you should see the Please unlock 1Password from the toolbar icon message replaced with the 1Password X inline menu that allows you to fill your Logins.
