I have been using 1password 3 (3.8.22) on an old Mac Pro (10.10.5) for years. I have a "key" for the old 1password, and it is registered. I have a new IMac Pro (10.15.2) and have purchased a a family membership on 1/22/20 (version 7.4.1). I would like to transfer all the passwords and notes from the old computer to the new. Can this be done? There is an export feature on the old 1 password which generates a data.1pif file, but it is not clear that I can use this.

    Hi there @beenos

If you can export to a .1pif file, you should be able to import that into the modern 1Password. Open up 1Password on the new machine and click File>Import>Older 1Password, choose the vault you wish to import to and then choose the file. That should import all your data into the new version.
