(Feature Request) Last Used and Ignore http

Not sure if this is the correct place to post a feature request. But I have two idea/features I would love to see in 1Password.

1) Record the Last used date on a password, either via autofill or copy password, will help with finding old unused passwords. With over 400+ logins, I have been trying to remove old unused ones, close unused accounts etc... A last used date would be helpful.

2) I get a lovely popup every time I login to sites not using https. Yes I know http is not secure, but I use 1password to store password on localhost too, for development, etc... Would be nice to set a flag on particular logins to not show the warning every time. I have to click thru that warning so many times a day.

1Password Version: 7.3.712
Extension Version: 1.17.0
OS Version: Windows 10
Sync Type: 1Password

    Hi @DotNetRob,

Thank you for reaching out with your suggestions! They are really appreciated. :chuffed: :+1:

It is possible to sort your items by "Date last used" in 1Password for Mac at the moment, and we have plans to add such sort filter to 1Password on Windows. 1Password 7 for Windows is young comparing to 1Password 7 for Mac and we have a lot of catching up to do there. However, the consistency across platforms is important to us, so thank you for pointing it out.

As for your second question, please try to add HTTP tag to those items and see if it works better for you. ;)

    Thanks again!

    Cheers,
    Greg

    Hi @Greg ,

Thanks for the reply, hopefully the last used will come to windows soon.

As far as the http, the website in the 1password is already http and matches the url I am logging into exactly, but still get the popup warning saying is not secure. I imagine I can turn off notifications on the 1password extension, but I would prefer to see the warning on other sites.

  • That http thing is an issue in 1Password X specifically, @DotNetRob. The message is displaying in a number of cases we don't want it to. Last I checked it was improved in beta for sure so you can update to the beta if you'd like it to hush up now. Otherwise, hang tight and it'll land as soon as we squash those final bugs. :chuffed:
