Issues migrating between different accounts

I am using a personal plan, and decided to join a family plan created by my friends. I was trying to follow the video tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVoE0hGpnBA and logged in my existing account in Chrome, and the new account in Windows app. When I clicked "get the app" in Chrome, the windows app popped out as expected, but the "transfer data" dialog box did not appear. I ended up having two different accounts existing in the windows app.
Or did I understand it wrongly? I wanted all my data in my existing account migrated to another account, and abandon my existing account, what is the correct way to do it?

    I wanted all my data in my existing account migrated to another account, and abandon my existing account, what is the correct way to do it?

    Now that you have both account inside the 1Password app, you can move your data from your existing account to your new account.
