    Hi @Stokkie833,

I'm sorry to hear you're having regrets. If you'd like to cancel you can find how to do that here:

    Manage your 1Password subscription

That said, we'd like to discuss the source of those regrets and see if there is anything we can do to help. Please let us know.

  • Hello @Ben,

    Thanks for you swift reply.

I read the info from your link and see this: "Your canceled subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, then your account will be frozen."

I just purchased it 15 mins ago. Do you really hold me to paying for the whole year even when I let you know that I just purchased it?

To clarify: have you actually made a payment? Barring any special promotions otherwise typically 1Password memberships come with a 30-day free trial, so you aren't charged the moment you enter your details.

I had the free trial running and was going back-and-forth between the different payment options and the fact that I rather not have my data in any cloud. Also the price hike is considerable (been using 1password since V5), so that's why it took me going back-and-forth. To be done with it and because I received a 'we miss you' gift card in the mail, I subscribed. But I have regrets, 15 mins later. As we are speaking now, the invoice just arrived in my mail and says that I have paid (because you only accept payments through credit cards). There was no other way to sign up then via credit card.

And to be honest, the functionality I used during the trial was the same as the functionality I used with the former versions, all my passwords are not in your cloud yet.

Because we offer a 30 day fully functional trial period we do not generally offer refunds on subscription payments, but ultimately that isn't a decision that I make. I would encourage you to reach out to our billing specialists at [email protected] and include a link to this thread with your message:

To be clear: your data is encrypted using keys only you have before being synced anywhere, regardless of how you opt to sync. Which sync service were you using for your 1Password data before?
