Current location in items list reset after minimizing app to the dock

I am using the 1Password Store version of the app. If I am viewing my items list by Title and my current location is for example in the middle of the list say in the items starting with the letter 'M' and I minimize the application to the dock, when I return to the application by clicking the icon in the dock my location in the items list resets to the top of the list.

Is this by design or is it possible to add a feature request to maintain my previous location in the list?
