I have tried several times to update 1password from the apple store but will not update because can't shut down shutdown 1password to update. Have tried the control option command Q.

    Hi @K5xcq0!

    1Password mini is probably still running in your menu bar. Can you please try quitting 1Password completely (right-click on 1Password mini in the menu bar at the top right of your screen > Quit 1Password Completely), and see if the update process can continue then?
