Can't use my master password after upgrading to Catalina

I've been using 1Password 6.8.8 in Safari and always found it helpful. My IT guy upgraded my computer to Catalina last week and now it's not taking my master password. I tried to log in to my account but it says I need a secret key which I don't have. It says to get it I have to sign in to my account to see my key, but how can i sign in if i have to use my secret key to sign in?

Thanks. yeah i tried to post on the forum before but didn't see the tiny note on the page that I had to verify my email address so it wouldn't let me post here. That's why I sent the email.
