Iphone & laptop are out of sync. At my wits end with this after years of using 1Password!!

I am a long time user of the app and currently a paid subscriber. The favorites and log in items on my iphone vs. my desktop version of 1Password are not in sync. I have tried several different fixes to no avail. I suspect it has something to do with the vaults but I can't tell. However, I can be certain that between all the different confusing options of primary, personal, all vaults, dropbox, iCloud and subscription sync I can't help but be confused and annoyed with how this app has devolved into a mess.

Please can you offer some kind of solution to get this app back to where it used to be when it just worked?
