'Never for this site' did not take

I switched to 1Password because my old password program used to pop up on my banking site where I don't want any password service. First time I logged in 1PW appeared, I clicked on 'never for this site' and dismissed it.

But every time I return to my bans' website 1PW pops up again.

I checked the 'preferences' tab in settings and the address of the bank is there. What am I missing?

Advice appreciated.

  • Is 1Password locked when you're signing into this site, @Noghar? If so, that's going to be why this is happening. Your excluded sites are encrypted because otherwise there would be information about at least some of the sites you visit out there in plain text. When 1Password is locked, it doesn't have the key to read that data so it doesn't know you've excluded that site yet and doesn't know it shouldn't ask you to save. If 1Password is unlocked, it should recognize that site has been excluded and not prompt you. Do you still see a save prompt with 1Password unlocked?
