How does 1Password find applications to fill.

Using 1Password on IOS iPad and iPhone. the Key pops up to fill in username and password. is there a method to set 1Password to know which ID to fill in?

    It depends on the other app. :) We rely on the app having set a sane Associated Domain (e.g. the one for 1Password is 1password.com). Based on that information from the app we look for any matching logins. 1Password will not be able to present a match if the app doesn't specify an associated domain. You can tell what the associated domain for an app is by creating a new Login item from autofill within the app.
