many old passwords
My 1password has become a mess. I have multiple entries for many websites, and usually all are obsolete but one. Is there any quick way to clean up my 1password account? I am finding myself trying multiple entries every time I try to go on a website. Moving forward I am trying to be better about defaulting to "update" rather than "create new."

Unfortunately, no, there is not a straightforward method.
There is one tool available, but it wouldn't assist you as it detects exact duplicates. With you saving new logins, they would not be exact duplicates, and that tool would fail. The best solution IMO would be to keep going and working through the logins. Making sure to remove the older login's when you find them.
