When downloading an upgrade, does 1password need access to files on computer.. Here is message.! "1password needs to update some of its files, which requires the password you use to log in to you mac.."

    Hi @LCLW,

    Yes, it does. 1Password must be installed in the /Applications folder, which requires administrative permissions. I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
