Open and Fill feature missing in 1Password AppStore version

Hi there,

how can I enable the "Open and Fill" feature in the 1Password version from AppStore? The 1Password from the AppStore is limited to open and copy only.

Hi @howdytom!

Have you added a 1Password membership account to the 1Password for Mac app already? The behavior you are describing typically happens when there is no 1Password account in the 1Password for Mac app downloaded from the Mac App Store.

The AppStore version does not work with a 1Password standalone license purchased from us, you will need to download directly from us at https://1Password.com/downloads in order to use your standalone license for 1Password 7.

@rudy Thanks, Got it. I didn't know that 1Password ships different versions on agilebits.com and AppStore.

I have manually downloaded 1Password. Now "Open and Fill" feature is back again ;-) Excellent.
