    This has never worked for me... I am using Safari 5.1.7.... It is a pity... it would have been faster for me to use the shortcuts...
    If you have a solution, I would love to hear it.

    I split your post from the other thread since it was specific to a German keyboard. I guess I should have asked before I split it, but are you using a German keyboard as well? If so, please see my reply there. If not, let's get some more information.

    Can you confirm for me that you have the 1Password extension installed in Safari?

    What happens if you visit the login page of a site for which you have a Login saved in 1Password select it from the 1Password extension popup under the top heading "Fill and Submit Login"?
