IE extension gets sign up/log in confused

Even when storing using the browser extension, some sites confuse 1Password into submitting the Sign Up form rather than Log In.

Mint is one example that will consistently fail: https://wwws.mint.com/login.event. Notice how the autofill hotkey returns a form error asking you to confirm the e-mail address, meaning either the wrong fields were populated or the wrong submit button was chosen.

This also happens on Runkeeper. Same situation.

1Password will only "play back" what you "recorded" when saving the Login item. It sounds like you saved a Login for the sign up form rather than the login form. Try saving a new Login item like this to make sure you aren't saving the wrong form fields:

    1. Visit the site's login page.
    2. Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.
    3. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, then click the "Save Login" button.
    4. Change the title if desired
    5. Click the Save button.

Manually saving a new Login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Saving a new Login item allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. :)

I hope that helps. Please let me know.
