Bank sign on fails

I'm trying to sign on to a bank website. Like many of these sites is has two levels of security but I can't sign on to the simpler first one, which just requires an account related number and a password. What happens is that when I use 1PW to try and sign on to that first page I get a page which tells me to wait for a new page which never appears. There is a comment "Please click here to continue working with the application ........". If I click the 'here' I get a message that it can't open the page. If I copy the password from the 1PW Key and paste it into the p/w field it works fine. I'm using Safari 6.0.5 on an iMac with ML 10.8.4.

I've tried 1PW with another similar bank website and it brings up the second level of security OK.
