2-Mac 1Pass installation

Options

hi there - The details first:

  • 2 Macs running OS 10.6.8
  • Both have 1Password 3.8.21 downloaded -- but only one (MBPro) has been used to set passwords, etc

My Aim:
A manual transfer of 1Pass data file from MBPro >> iMac -- so as to have a single account on both Macs

My Problem:

  • The guide says "find the location of your data file in the 1Pass>Pref>General window" and copy it to the 2nd Mac
  • However, disk searches don't find such a folder/file pathway (nor can I find a " .1pif " file) to transfer
  • The only candidate 1Password file I find is in User>Library>Preferences: " ws.agile.1Password.plist "-- but I doubt that's the intended data file

My Question:
Can you suggest what I should look for in trying to do this data transfer ? (ps: I'd like to avoid Dropbox for now)
Many thanks ! - pmaison

What is the path listed in 1Password's preferences on the General pane on your MacBook Pro? Here is my own as an example:

    Users > khad > Dropbox > 1Password > 1Password.agilekeychain

Right'o -- that keychain file didn't show-up when I first scanned for "1Pass" files/folders, but it does now. Thanks.

So everything is working well now?
