Multiple User Accounts with version 3.9.6 & Sandbox Container

If using version 3.9.6 and Sandbox Container (i.e., not dropbox), does 1Password still support using the same keychain file across multiple user accounts? If so, is it as simple as opening the 1password on the new user, selecting that you have used 1password before, then navigating to the current keychain file on the current user? I assume to do so, will need to show "Library" in the terminal, as well as make both users be able to read and write to all folders from the top to bottom of the location of the current user folder where the current user keychain is located.

It is theoretically possible to share one data file locally using symbolic links, but we cannot guarantee that such a configuration will work. You'd certainly have a much easier time of it without dealing with sandboxing. There is no reason to switch to 3.9. It is essentially identical to 3.8 apart from sandboxing. You're not really missing anything. :)

That said, because the permissions can be tricky to get right (and keep right over time) the supported method for sharing a data file between two OS X user accounts is still Dropbox. We will certainly help as much as we can, but we just can't guarantee that any other method will work in all cases.
