1P4-mini show lock state / Time based lock ???

1) Can you change the 1P4-mini icon to indicate lock state?

2) Can you add a regular time based lock in addition to the idle-time lock?

    Hi @rolfl,

    1. We'll look into this.
    2. At this moment, we do not plan to do this at all. We'd like to keep it simple by using the idle time lock instead. If you need to lock at any given time, you can use the global shortcut, Command + Option + Control + L instead. However, we'll keep it in mind.

I second @rolfl's first request to have a better distinction between the two states.

  • Regarding the idle-time lock, what would be really useful is if the user can customize the idle-time lock. It becomes inconvenient for 1P4 to constantly lock if I haven't accessed it in 10 minutes (or whatever the lock time is). This would be especially helpful for those that work alone or don't have to deal with others accessing their computers risking data leakage.

@Jesser you can already customize the idle-time in the preferences

  • Thanks @halbtuerke I must have glazed right over that when I was exploring the options. Problem solved!

    That's great to hear.

A screenshot for others who might be lost here, we're working on cleaning it up a bit, since it should be under Auto-lock:
