Switch to Mac App Store Version

I have been using 1P since version 1.
Currently using version 3.8 with Safari and Chrome extensions and Dropbox sync.

I want to upgrade to version 4 on the Mac App Store.

How do I switch from version 3 to the Mac App Store version of 4?
Do I need to do a full uninstall (including browser extensions) before purchasing 4 on the store?
Does my situation qualify for the $24.99 purchase price and if so, is that price available on the Mac App Store?

    Received this from AgileBits support regarding the same question:

    Thank you for your interest in upgrading to 1Password 4 for Mac. Unfortunately, licenses that were issued through our store are not upgradeable in the Mac App Store. If you wish to upgrade through Our Store, you can visit agilebits.com/store/upgrade. If you prefer the Mac App Store license, you will need to purchase it for the current Mac App Store sale price.
