Mini separate from 1Password

I have purchased 1Password 3 and then updated to 4. Seemed to work OK but now not. I have installed some logins via 1 Password. Then some via Safari, which added to mini but NOT 1Password. I changed master password on 1 Password but it did not change on Mini. Can I clear and start again without losing data from vault.
