Dropbox sync isn't working

I recently set up Dropbox sync. I have a Mac Pro and Macbook Pro running 4.0.2 and then an iPhone and iPad running the latest iOS version.

The sync appears to be set up successfully. When I open Dropbox on my Macs, and go into Preferences > Sync, it says that it synced a few seconds ago. However, there are some secure notes I recently added on my Mac Pro that do not appear on my Macbook. They do, however, appear on my iPhone and iPad, so it seems that the Macbook Pro is not syncing properly.

What should I do?

    There is another thread talking about this same issue. I had the same problem and fixed it by a nuke-n-pave reset of my sync setup. I posted the steps here.

    Please see if the location in the Dropbox is the same on both Macs. Also, after you make a change on one Mac, please click on the Dropbox menu bar item and see if it shows that the sync was performed on another Mac.
