My data file has dissappeared

I'm running 1Password 3.8.21. Recently, I noticed that 1Password was no longer responding to the cmd+\ shortcut to autofill login forms. Also, there is a red error badge over the icon in chrome (http://cl.ly/image/211T3V2O1x30). When clicked it states that 1Password Helper process is experiencing problems. I almost always use the chrome extension and rarely use the actual app, but I opened up the app to see if I could figure out what was going on and was greeted with the welcome screen asking me to set up a new data file (http://cl.ly/image/2v2l111e0M2G).

Everything was setup and running fine a few days ago. I havn't installed any new software or updated anything in that time. Curiously, the 1Password chrome extension still has all my logins and wallet information. It appears that the app has lost the data file somehow. Is there any way of restoring this without having to add all my information back in manually?

Thanks.

    Hi @avclark,

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password right now. Let's take a closer look at your system and find out just what is going on here. Could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

    http://learn.agilebits.com/1Password4/diagnostic-report.html

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@ agilebits .com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
